Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to go over what we will be doing for the month of December. Starting on December 3rd, we will be rehearsing different routines every day. Wednesdays will be technique classes, where the girls come to their regular technique times. Tap classes will be canceled for the month of December. We will be tapping during rehearsals for Toledo Surprise and New Shoes.
On Wednesday, Dec 12, the Mini-Petites and Minis will put on a showcase for parents and friends to show what we have been working on this season. The showcase will start at 4:30. Please have dancers arrive at the normal time, 4:15. There will be a sign-up sheet outside the studio to bring in Christmas treats to share! Regular classes will still be held afterwards for other group members.
As a special treat, I have rented out the new Holiday Inn Water park in Maumee on December 20th for our Christmas Party. We will swim from 5:30-7:30 and then exchange gifts from 7:30-8:15. Please bring a small gift for your big/lil sis. The party begins at 5:30 and will end at 8:15. I am covering the cost for all dancers, but if you would like to stay and watch, there may be a small observation fee. The rehearsal on December 19th for Unwanted will be from 4-6 now.
Just a reminder, convention and costume payments are due the first week in December. I have already sent the check for all of the workshop and competition fees, so I would like to be reimbursed asap!
